Content Marketing Manager (Part-Time)

Uncapped

New York, NY • Remote

Part-time

Posted 5 days ago

Job description

Remote, United States/CA. Part time (10 to 15 hours a week)

Role Overview

At Uncapped, we help ambitious founders realize their dreams. We're looking for a Part-Time Content Marketing Manager to build our brand voice and content operations end-to-end, from the editorial calendar and blog through to newsletters, social, and video. This is a part-time, contractor engagement rather than a full-time hire, built for someone who can come in for around 10 to 15 hours a week, set the foundations, and keep the engine running without needing to be managed day-to-day.

You'll create the distribution and community strategy that gets Uncapped's story in front of the founders we serve, source customer stories and PR placements that build trust in the e-commerce and fintech ecosystem, and put in place the playbooks and tooling that make our content consistent and outcome-driven, not just busy work. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants meaningful scope without full-time hours.

About Uncapped

Founded in 2019, Uncapped is a leading fintech provider of working & growth capital to e-commerce companies in North America and Europe. We leverage multiple data sources and use cutting-edge models to make credit decisions faster and safer. We work with some of the largest global e-commerce platforms - including Amazon - and strive to be the best alternative lender globally.

What you will do

You will own Uncapped's brand voice and content operation as our Content Marketing Manager, working closely with Sales, Product and commercial leadership to make sure everything we publish earns attention and builds pipeline.

  • Own the editorial calendar and content operation across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Reddit, blog and newsletter, end-to-end
  • Build distribution and community strategies across channels where our founders actually spend time, such as Reddit, Slack and Discord communities for e-commerce and DTC operators
  • Source and produce customer stories, and get Uncapped into newsletter, community, webinar and other placements that build credibility with the founders and decision makers we serve
  • Measure content impact on awareness and pipeline, and use that data to decide what to double down on
  • Establish playbooks and tooling so content stays consistent and outcome-driven even as the volume scales, and so the work you set up holds together between your hours in the seat
  • Partner with Sales, Product and commercial leadership to make sure brand and content efforts are pulling in the same direction as the wider commercial strategy

Requirements

Who you are

  • A proven brand or content lead who has built a content operation from the ground up, ideally in fintech, e-commerce, or a B2B startup environment
  • Comfortable working as a part-time or contract manager: self-directed, able to set priorities and deliver without close oversight
  • A strong writer and editor who can set the voice for a brand and keep others consistent with it
  • Experienced building distribution and community strategy beyond the obvious channels, not just posting and hoping
  • Data-informed: you track what content is actually driving awareness and pipeline, not just output
  • A systems builder: you leave behind playbooks and tooling that outlast your specific hours in the role
  • Genuinely interested in the high-growth e-commerce and fintech ecosystem

Benefits

We can only consider applications from candidates eligible to work in the USA without requiring visa sponsorship.
