Job Description AI Content Strategist / Content Writer (GEO Focus) Location: San Antonio, TX (Remote) Pay Rate: $55/hr Position Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Content Strategist / Content Writer to support a Digital Claims organization. This role will focus on developing and optimizing content for both traditional search and emerging AI-powered search experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer-facing content creation, strategic content planning, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure content is discoverable, understandable, and surfaced by AI search engines and conversational AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities Develop, write, edit, and optimize content for digital claims experiences, public websites, communication templates, and customer-facing journeys. Assess and implement AI Content Strategy and GEO opportunities across digital content. Create recommendations and strategic roadmaps to improve content visibility and performance in AI-driven search environments.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop content strategies. Produce clear, concise, and user-centered content that supports customer needs throughout the claims process. Review, edit, and rewrite content as needed to maintain quality, consistency, and brand voice.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Adapt language, tone, and messaging based on audience, channel, and business objectives. Monitor industry trends related to AI search, content discovery, and digital customer experiences.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional content writing, content strategy, digital content, or related experience. Experience optimizing content for AI-powered search engines, conversational AI platforms, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Strong strategic planning, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience creating customer-facing content and digital experiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience. Claims industry experience. Experience writing content for digital customer experiences, self-service platforms, or customer portals.

Familiarity with UX writing and content design principles. Required Tools & Technology Figma Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Word Daily Activities Develop and update content supporting digital claims experiences. Create GEO recommendations and strategic content roadmaps.
