Job description

We're Changing the PropTech Industry

We're a profitable, growth-stage company building industry-leading martech and data products for the PropTech space. Our focus is on our category-leading AI and data SaaS products with triple-digit growth rates.

We're a fully remote team of 100+ spread across the U.S. from coast to coast. We operate on a strict no a**holes policy and are proud to have built a community of highly performant people that take our work seriously, but not ourselves. And, we're looking for exceptional people to help further accelerate our growth.

While we've raised $30MM+ to date from some of the world's best investors, we're profitable with a strong balance sheet and an indefinite runway. We pride ourselves on achieving rapid growth without having to incinerate capital.

About Our Products

ApartmentIQ is the all-in-one data platform powering smarter decisions across multifamily - covering 40M units with daily property and market intelligence used for surveys, research, and revenue management. We're trusted by 65% of the NMHC Top 50. Our sister company, MavenAI, delivers AI-powered marketing automation built by industry experts and integrated directly with property management systems, serving over 2M units.

The Role

We're hiring a Content Marketing Manager to turn ApartmentIQ data into the content that defines how the multifamily industry thinks about pricing, supply, and competition. You'll act as a multifamily analyst using Explore Pro, our market research platform, for insights, then translate them into newsletters, social, email, blog content, reports, and beyond.

You build content systems that produce, optimize, and distribute at scale. You'll be the connective tissue between our data and the market.

This is a high-ownership IC role reporting to the VP of Marketing. You'll partner closely with GTM teams as well as the Exec team.

What You'll Do:

  • Data Analysis & Insights Synthesis

    • Data Mining: Ability to navigate complex proprietary data platforms (e.g., Explore Pro) to identify market-moving trends in multifamily rent, concessions, and supply pipelines.
    • Insight Translation: Mastery of converting raw data points into actionable market intelligence and "must-read" narratives for industry stakeholders.
    • Data Integrity & QA: Rigorous attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy in data reporting, protecting the brand's reputation as a single source of truth.
  • Multi-Format Narrative Excellence

    • Cross-Channel Copywriting: Proficiency in adapting a core data story into diverse formats, including white papers, executive emails, social posts, and short-form video scripts.
    • Visual Storytelling: Competency in designing or directing the creation of charts and data visualizations that make complex multifamily dynamics easy to digest.
    • Editorial Management: Proven ability to manage a high-velocity editorial calendar, ensuring consistent output across newsletters, blogs, and LinkedIn.
  • Content Operations

    • Workflow Design: Experience building content using LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT) to scale drafting, repurposing, and personalization.
    • Voice Preservation: Ability to use AI as a leverage tool while maintaining a distinct, human-centric brand voice and avoiding "generic" AI-generated output.
  • Growth Marketing & Performance Measurement

    • Omnichannel Distribution: Skill in orchestrating content across owned (email/blog), earned (industry citations), and paid channels.
    • Attribution & Analytics: Ability to measure and report on content ROI through metrics like organic traffic and social reach.
    • Franchise Development: Strategic thinking required to build "compounding" content series (e.g., recurring monthly/quarterly reports) that build long-term audience loyalty.
  • Strategic Collaboration

    • Product Marketing Partnership: Ability to collaborate with product teams to translate technical features and data enhancements into value-driven launch content.
    • Market Reactivity: Agility to produce high-quality "newsjacking" content tied to major industry moments, such as M&A activity or NMHC data releases.

What We're Looking For:

  • 4–7 years of multifamily research, analysis, or journalism experience, working closely with marketing, ideally at a data-rich Real Estate company
  • Experience owning an editorial calendar and shipping consistently against deadlines.
  • Demonstrable track record building and shipping AI-native content workflows: You can describe your stack and show examples of content you produced with AI in the loop that performed.
  • Strong analytical foundation: You can navigate a data platform, ask the right questions, and translate findings into a narrative without losing precision.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: Keyword research, on-page, internal linking, technical basics, and emerging AEO/GEO best practices.
  • Comfort with a marketing stack: CMS, email platforms (HubSpot), social schedulers, GA4, Search Console.

Why Choose Us:

  • Remote-First: We offer the freedom to work from home across most of the U.S. You'll enjoy the flexibility of remote work, balanced with high-energy in-person offsites to build real connections and celebrate our wins together.
  • Competitive Compensation: We believe in hiring the best and paying accordingly. You'll receive a competitive salary that reflects your impact and expertise.
  • Paid Time Off: Take the time you need with our flexible vacation policy and dedicated paid parental leave to support you and your family's biggest milestones.
  • Your Health Matters: Stay healthy with high-quality Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans for you and your family.
  • Peace of Mind (On Us): We fully invest in your security with 100% company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Basic Life Insurance.
  • Protection for Your Whole Crew: Access supplemental insurance for the unexpected, plus specialized coverage to keep your pets happy and healthy, too.
  • Invest in Your Future: Secure your financial goals with our 401k Program, helping you build for the long term while you help us build the company.

If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation in the application or recruiting process, please contact your recruiter.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

We want to alert you to potential recruiting scams targeting job seekers. Please note that our company will never request payment, personal information, or any confidential details during the interview process.
