Overcoming these obstacles typically involves using collaborative tools like project management software, establishing clear communication protocols, and setting regular check-ins with team members. Staying organized and proactive in providing feedback can help maintain workflow efficiency and ensure high-quality content delivery.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Content Editor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Content Editor, you need excellent language proficiency, strong editing and proofreading skills, and a solid understanding of grammar and style, often supported by a degree in English, journalism, or communications. Job description

Brand Bolt is a 9-figure portfolio of leading skincare and women's health brands seeking a dynamic Copywriting Director who excels equally in direct response copywriting and project management. This role demands a strategic thinker who thrives on structure, accountability, and measurable results-ensuring our copy and creative engine runs efficiently and effectively.
We are looking for someone with deep DTC health and wellness brands with a deep understanding of performance marketing and VSL's. You will work in close partnership with the Creative Director, maintaining an unwavering focus on keeping all deliverables on-brand, on schedule, and conversion-driven. As the operational anchor for the copy department, you'll oversee daily workflows, assigning and tracking tasks through Notion, and proactively ensuring deadlines and standards are met.
Your leadership will extend to signing off on all copy assets before they launch, facilitating tightly run creative meetings, and leveraging Descript to maximize our video content. In addition to managing, you'll remain hands-on with writing and optimizing top-performing copy for key campaigns and strategic tests.
If you are an accomplished direct response copywriter who brings equal passion and skill to process, project management, and high-converting creative, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Copywriter Responsibilities
  • Serve as a writer for foundational campaigns, product launches, and major evergreen funnels.
  • Produce original, persuasive, and high-converting direct response copy for landing pages, sales pages and VSL's.
  • Test and iterate copy variations to optimize performance, partnering closely with the creative and performance teams.
  • Manage junior copywriters- tasking them efficiently, developing their talent and sharing the key data.
  • Develop the copy department to be best in class for speed of testing, ideation, reporting, video editing and productivity.
  • Serve as the champion for brand voice and storytelling across all written assets, ensuring a seamless customer experience at every touchpoint.
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest trends in direct response, including AI, video tools and creative strategy, proactively bringing new ideas to the table.

Project Management & Workflow:
  • Own the day-to-day workflow of the copy team via Notion, assigning tasks, setting project priorities, monitoring progress, and ensuring all deadlines are strictly met.
  • Track all project statuses and proactively hold team members accountable for deliverables and expectations.
  • Create an environment of continuous feedback and access to up-to-date reporting.
  • Operate seamlessly within the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework-ensuring processes, meetings, and scorecards are managed for maximum efficiency.

Copy Leadership & Quality Assurance:
  • Review and sign off on all copy assets (including pages, emails, ads, scripts) for accuracy, persuasion, and adherence to brand voice.
  • Diligently identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or weak messaging prior to launch.

Creative Production & Optimization:
  • Lead effective, results-focused creative calls that drive action and clarity.
  • Create new high-converting video variations from existing assets.
  • Write, edit, and optimize copy for ads, VSLs, and acquisition funnels, especially for high-priority launches and tests.
  • Ensure brand voice and conversion benchmarks are maintained across all creative outputs.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in direct response copywriting, with a portfolio showcasing results.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in skincare, women's health, or health supplements.
  • Demonstrated mastery of persuasive selling and funnel-based marketing.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with proven success leading teams and projects in tools such as Notion.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail-you catch typos, odd phrasing, and off-brand elements instantly.
  • Experience with Descript (or similar) for video editing and test creation.
  • Track record of running productive, purposeful meetings and driving actionable outcomes.
  • Ability to enforce accountability while maintaining a positive, collegial team environment.
  • Familiarity working within EOS framework preferred.

Why You'll Love Working Here
  • Collaborate with a top-tier marketing team that values pace and performance.
  • Take a pivotal role in launching campaigns seen by millions.
  • Enjoy the flexibility and autonomy of a remote work environment built on trust and accountability.
  • Receive competitive compensation and generous performance-based incentives.

If you are as passionate about driving results through seamless project management as you are about crafting world-class copy, apply today and help us set new standards in direct response marketing!
