Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Senior Business and Financial Analyst to provide high-level financial analysis and reporting support across a range of business and program functions. The ideal candidate is a results-driven financial professional with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP systems, capable of delivering precise and meaningful financial insights that support strategic decision-making. This individual will demonstrate the ability to manage complex financial activities independently while collaborating effectively with program and leadership teams.
The Senior Business and Financial Analyst will serve as a key financial resource, providing senior-level analytical support across budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, requisitioning, and ERP system utilization. This individual will work closely with program managers, leadership, and government clients to ensure financial data is accurate, current, and aligned with organizational and contract requirements.
Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support program and organizational decision-making, identifying trends, variances, and areas of financial risk or opportunity.
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain financial reports for internal leadership and external government stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Support the preparation of financial briefings, presentations, and status reports for senior leadership and government clients.
  • Coordinate with program managers, contracting personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure financial activities are aligned with program plans and contract requirements.
  • Identify and resolve financial discrepancies, working collaboratively with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of financial processes, tools, and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Education and Experience:
Required:
  • Seven (7) years of experience performing financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, requisitioning, forecasting, and utilization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial software.
  • Active security clearance (Secret or higher).
