Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Falls Church VA (Remote)
Duration: 2 Years
Position Summary
The Senior Systems Engineer shall provide technical leadership supporting architecture, integration, sustainment, modernization, and lifecycle management of the client Equal Employment Opportunity Case Management System and Anti-Harassment platform. The position focuses on enterprise system integration, architecture development, infrastructure engineering, and technical solution implementation.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design, integrate, and maintain enterprise system architecture supporting Entellitrak applications.
  • Develop and maintain system interfaces, APIs, database integrations, and middleware components.
  • Support architecture modernization activities using DoDAF standards.
  • Produce architecture artifacts, diagrams, interface documentation, and technical specifications.
  • Perform root cause analysis of production issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
  • Support software releases, environment management, deployment planning, and configuration management.
  • Ensure system interoperability across production and non-production environments.
  • Support cybersecurity implementation, vulnerability remediation, and accreditation activities.
  • Collaborate with software developers, testers, and Government architects throughout the development lifecycle.

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of systems engineering experience.
  • Experience integrating enterprise Java/JEE applications.
  • Experience with DoD architecture frameworks (DoDAF).
  • Knowledge of database design, system integration, APIs, XML, SOAP, REST, and enterprise middleware.
  • Experience supporting RMF, STIG implementation, and secure enterprise environments.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
