Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments remotely using our specialized teletherapy software to evaluate each client’s mental health status and establish their treatment goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions through secure video conferencing, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, which may include cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance while facilitating seamless communication throughout the client’s journey.
• Participate in weekly team meetings via conference calls or web chat platforms to discuss patient progress, share insights, and strategize next steps in treatment approaches.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and webinars that focus on best practices within the teletherapy landscape, further enhancing your skills as a mental health professional.
• Contribute actively to our schedule of programming initiatives, proposing new ideas and methods aimed at improving patient care delivery and efficacy in achieving mental health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working closely with a broad range of clients who are facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will tailor your therapeutic methods to meet the diverse cultural and personal backgrounds of your patients, recognizing and respecting their unique narratives and healing processes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• You must possess a current and active California licensure (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) that authorizes you to provide psychotherapeutic treatment.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines of practice.
• Excellent digital literacy skills, especially with video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Skype, and other electronic therapy tools.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing counseling to individuals dealing with emotional and psychological difficulties is strongly preferred, although candidates with varied levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in teletherapy or digital mental health services is a plus, as well as familiarity with managing electronic documentation.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients remotely.

Compensation and Benefits
