Position Overview

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a professional and supportive connection with both colleagues and clients. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will conduct sessions from the comfort of your home office while ensuring client confidentiality and adherence to telehealth best practices. This role combines the convenience of remote work with the collaborative ethos of a dedicated mental health facility. Team meetings and case discussions will occur online, ensuring constant communication and synergy among staff members.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions that target a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. For instance, you'll facilitate a support group for young adults navigating anxiety related to social situations.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting all interactions and progress notes in compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive and integrated support for patients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, coursework, and training opportunities to stay updated with the latest therapeutic approaches and best practices.
• Propose and implement service improvement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice in your respective state (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• At least two years of experience providing direct mental health services.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to connect quickly and effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred, enhancing efficiency in clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse clientele, including various age groups and cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed approaches.
• A background in crisis intervention and management for high-risk clients.
