Hybrid Onsite Every Other Week in Durham, NC

Our client seeks a Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions within a complex enterprise environment. You will collaborate across product and domain teams to define requirements, translate needs into actionable specifications, validate solutions, and drive continuous improvement for investment technology products supporting portfolio management, research, and trading.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $45.00 to $50.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, wireframes, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Diagram current workflows and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and demos to align business and technical teams.
  • Support testing and user acceptance to confirm solutions meet requirements.
  • Interpret data to support decision-making and validate assumptions.
  • Maintain clear documentation and standards for requirements, processes, and system changes.
  • Recommend enhancements to new and existing systems and processes based on performance metrics and feedback.

Experience Requirements:
  • 3 to 5+ years as an IT Systems Analyst.
  • Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Experience in systems integration and testing.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Excel for data analysis.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization and communicate effectively.
  • Experience writing user and system stories with accurate technical documentation.
  • Effective problem solver with root cause focus.
  • Prior financial services experience preferred; exposure to asset management, trading, and compliance is a plus.
  • Wireframing skills using Figma, Sketch, or MS Office tools.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
