Job description

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking an experienced Business Application Analyst/Engineer to join our team. The Business Application Analyst/Engineer reports to the Director of Financial Systems & Reporting and will be responsible for maintaining and developing the firm’s business intake forms and workflows and other financial systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless system performance and strong integrations across Finance, Risk & Compliance, IT, and enterprise platforms.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with Finance, Risk & Compliance, IT, and Practice Groups to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Maintain, configure, and optimize business workflows, forms, and approvals
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills and technologies to support evolving business needs
  • Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations between various enterprise applications (Aderant, HR, CRM, analytics platforms)
  • Design, test, and deploy forms and workflow logic to automate approvals and operational processes
  • Ensure data quality, security, and process compliance
  • Maintain system documentation, reports, and usage metrics

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field preferred
  • SQL database experience including stored procedures, functions, etc.
  • Experience in a professional services environment, preferred
  • Experience with form design, workflow configuration, integrations, and API Integrations
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms and reporting tools such as Power BI preferred
  • Understanding of matter lifecycle, billing, conflicts, and client intake processes

Physical Requirements:

  • The work is primarily sedentary.
