Job description

The Opportunity:

Vianai is looking for an experienced Customer Engineer who will augment our human-centered products through customer interaction and proviging technical workarounds. We need you to drive technical changes for our clients and support them as they are brought onboard and up to speed. Our ideal Customer Engineer is hands-on, collaborative, self-motivated, and innovative. Expectations:

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of Designers, Developers, Engineers, Data Scientists both internally and with our customers.
  • Perform hands-on and in-depth investigations /debugging at all levels of our software stack.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
  • Communicate and present at all levels in a clear and simple manner showing good relationship skills and being a strong team player.
  • Take leadership to pursue the best, state-of-the-art solutions, within the dynamic requirements and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Human Machine Interface Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years experience with application development using Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and other industry standard languages and frameworks.
  • 3-5 years experience with backend and DBMS technology, including SQLserver, MySQL, Redis, Elastic, Kibana and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, docker micro-services, and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • In-depth hands-on experience with industry standard frameworks like React or similar.
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling (Pub/Sub), threading and high performance enterprise systems.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs (JWT, FastAPI/Flask) and unit testing.
  • Curious about new technology, able to change quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
  • Familiar with data stack applications like SQL Database, Data warehouse, Kafka etc.
  • Knowledge in Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
