What is remote computer repair?

Remote computer repair is a service where a technician accesses a customer's computer over the internet to diagnose and fix software-related issues without needing to be physically present. This is accomplished by using secure remote access software, allowing the technician to control the computer as if they were sitting in front of it. Remote computer repair is commonly used for troubleshooting, virus removal, software installation, and general system maintenance. It saves time and is convenient for both the user and the technician, but it usually cannot address hardware problems that require physical intervention.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote computer repair technician?

To thrive as a Remote Computer Repair Technician, you need strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of computer hardware and software, and often a relevant certification such as CompTIA A+. Familiarity with remote desktop tools, ticketing systems, and antivirus software is typically required. Excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving abilities help build trust and guide clients through technical issues remotely. These skills ensure efficient diagnosis and resolution of computer problems, leading to high customer satisfaction and reliable technical support.

What are some common challenges faced by remote computer repair technicians, and how can they be managed effectively?

Remote computer repair technicians often encounter challenges such as diagnosing hardware issues without physical access, guiding clients with varying technical skills, and managing multiple support requests simultaneously. To address these, technicians rely on clear communication, robust remote diagnostic tools, and well-documented troubleshooting procedures. Building patience and empathy when explaining steps to clients is crucial, as is staying organized to prioritize tasks and follow up on unresolved issues.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced coach with deep, hands-on experience in relationship and marriage-focused coaching. This is not a surface-level role - it requires confidence above all else. You must be able to challenge the clients and be certain of your own competence as a coach.

This role is ideal for someone who has spent significant time coaching individuals or couples through marital conflict, emotional disconnection, trust breakdown, separation, and reconciliation.

You hold space for difficult conversations, offer direct yet compassionate guidance, and translate complex emotional dynamics into clear, actionable steps.

What You'll DoCoaching & Client Support
  • Deliver brief and strategic 1:1 and group coaching sessions focused on relational dynamics, emotional regulation, effective communication, and personal accountability
  • Guide clients through emotionally charged situations with clarity, structure, and proven frameworks
  • Help clients move from crisis and confusion to stability, and leadership
Client Experience & Retention
  • Track client progress across emotionally complex journeys by identifying resistance patterns, and breakthrough moments
  • Proactively intervene when clients struggle with consistency, emotional setbacks, or decision paralysis
  • Contribute insights to continuously improve coaching frameworks and client outcome.

We Encourage You to Apply If

  • You're willing to prioritize the Marriage Reset framework over your own existing coaching/therapy methodology.
  • You welcome direct feedback and having your coaching reviewed.
  • You thrive following a defined process and standards rather than coaching loosely.
  • You take ownership and examine what you could do differently rather than blaming clients for lack of progress.
  • You're comfortable holding men accountable while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
  • You're committed to becoming exceptional at this work, not looking for a casual side gig.
  • You understand that being a good listener alone doesn't make someone a great coach.

Requirements

Experience
  • Proven background coaching individuals or couples through marriage conflict, emotional disconnection, trust breakdown, separation, or reconciliation
  • Comfortable working with clients in high emotional distress — balancing empathy with firmness, challenging avoidance patterns, and maintaining authority in difficult conversations
Communication
  • Strong verbal skills - able to explain complex emotional dynamics in a grounded, practical way
  • Confident facilitating group discussions on sensitive topics
Operational
  • Organised, reliable, and comfortable operating within a structured program
Coaching Expertise
  • Direct experience in relationship, marriage, or couples coaching is required. Relevant certifications or qualifications - such as ICF, Gottman Method, EFT, IFS, SYMBIS, PAIRS, PREP, BCC, or LMFT/LPC/LCSW - will be a strong plus.
Salary:
  • Hourly rate: 50 USD

Benefits

  • Work from Anywhere - Fully remote position, work from wherever you're most productive
  • Flexible Hours - Structure your workday in a way that fits your life while still meeting team needs
  • Ongoing Growth - Access to ongoing training, resources, and development opportunities to sharpen your skills
  • Ownership & Impact - You won't just fill a role - you'll build something meaningful at a company that changes lives every day
  • Leadership Collaboration - Work closely with founders and department leads, with direct influence on how the business grows
  • Commission Opportunities: Receive bonuses through commission on all additional purchases made by your clients
