This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while collaborating with a dynamic and multidisciplinary team. You will participate in team meetings and case consultations via virtual platforms, ensuring comprehensive care delivery. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' histories and design individualized treatment strategies tailored to their unique needs.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, damage repair, and resilience-building interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build supportive networks.
• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, fostering a holistic healing environment.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during times of trauma-related emergencies, addressing client safety and needs effectively.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available resources to enhance their emotional support systems.
• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential records to comply with legal and ethical requirements, using electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities and team discussions focused on staying current with best practices in trauma care.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, each requiring tailored interventions that acknowledge their unique experiences and backgrounds. Your compassionate approach and understanding of trauma-informed care will significantly contribute to their recovery journey.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a therapeutic setting is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.
• Ability to perform under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Competence in using EHR systems and standard computer applications for documentation and communication.

• Experience delivering evidence-based trauma-focused therapies and interventions with successful outcomes.
• Prior engagement in continuous learning related to trauma therapy best practices and interventions.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to achieve unified patient care goals.

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
