This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. You will have access to a user-friendly therapist portal equipped with online tools and resources designed to enhance your practice and streamline your operations. While the administrative burdens of paperwork and billing are minimized to let you focus on patient care, a supportive team is always available to assist you.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat platforms, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods.
• Engaging clients in meaningful dialogue to help them understand and process their emotions, experiences, and relationships.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions and personal goals.
• Serving as an advocate for clients while encouraging them to set attainable objectives for their mental wellness journey.
• Utilizing solution-based approaches rooted in your clinical expertise to implement effective interventions during therapy sessions.

The clients you will support at Bliss Care are prescreened, stable, and identified as having low acuity mental health conditions. This specific focus allows you to provide the highest quality care through early intervention and supportive counseling, ultimately empowering clients to manage their mental health proactively.

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an independent mental health license issued by the state of New York, including:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Proficiency in making professional evaluations and delivering recommendations for treatment clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with empathy, to develop trusting relationships with clients.
• Computer literacy to effectively use our therapist portal and maintain client records.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with the following experiences:

• Previous experience conducting telehealth sessions, demonstrating comfort with technology and virtual counseling.
• Experience with diverse populations, providing tailored approaches to suite varying cultural and individual needs.
• Background in specific therapeutic methodologies that align with our client demographics, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, or solution-focused therapy.
