Motion in Mind Counseling Center is seeking compassionate and driven licensed mental health therapists to join our team in a full-time capacity. Motion in Mind Counseling Center is a dynamic outpatient psychiatric practice located in Naperville, Illinois. Our mission is to serve individuals navigating various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to substance use disorders. Our work environment is structured to promote mental wellness and support among our therapists. As a remote facility, we leverage advanced telehealth technologies to ensure our therapists can effectively engage with clients. We maintain a collaborative atmosphere where regular virtual meetings, professional training sessions, and case consultations foster a collegial network aimed at improving therapeutic outcomes. Our standard operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs.

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient, allowing for the development of tailored treatment plans that address specific challenges.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, creating a safe space for clients to share their experiences while providing education on mental health topics and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure continuity and coherence in patient care, sharing insights and strategies that promote holistic healing.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring immediate and compassionate support during times of mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources, facilitating informed decision-making regarding their care.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate tracking of treatment progress.
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development through attendance at workshops, webinars, and networking opportunities, enhancing both personal and team knowledge.

Our client base represents a diverse group of individuals grappling with varying degrees of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. As a therapist, you will be responsible for engaging with patients from various backgrounds, understanding their distinct experiences, and tailoring treatment to foster resilience and coping strategies.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting detailed mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport with patients and collaboration with colleagues.
• A strong ethical framework, maintaining professional boundaries while providing compassionate care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and basic computer applications required for documentation and facilitation of therapy.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience delivering therapy to diverse populations with varying cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability in leading group therapy sessions.
• Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and research in mental health.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and clinical expertise. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
