Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for setup and ongoing maintenance for all eligibility services technology platforms. These technology platforms include the following: eligibility system of record, client web-based eligibility maintenance portal, PBM vendor setup, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and COBRA administration platforms, mapping program, and ID card program. The Senior Implementation Specialist determines coding requirements and executes communication or system updates necessary. Works within the implementation team to ensure all tasks and/or project plans remain on schedule for all new group implementations and client changes. The Senior Implementation Specialist is responsible for maintaining coding, vendor communication, reporting, project plans and communicating project status internally and externally as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Configures/codes new group setup and group changes in all applicable eligibility services technology platforms
  • Communicates changes and set up requirements with applicable vendors and navigates vendor systems as necessary
  • Conducts quality assurance testing on all new group setup and changes among technology platforms
  • Maintains project plans and checklists for new client implementations and existing client changes
  • Processes changes, renewals, and open enrollment, among all technology platforms
  • Provides system enhancement suggestions
  • Works on special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 3-5 years prior benefits administration experience with a strong focus on coding setup and maintenance technology required
    • Client coding and installation
    • QicLink/Cognizant experience preferred
  • Intermediate level experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, basic Access skills preferred
  • Communication Skills - excellent written and verbal
