About the Role:

Join ALLERAIT SOLUTIONS LLC as a Developer-SME and Security Steward, where you will play a crucial role in shaping innovative solutions while ensuring the highest standards of security. We are looking for a passionate individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to impactful projects in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement secure software solutions in accordance with industry standards.

Serve as the primary contractor liaison between developers, system owners, and security staff

Coordinate with the SSPO to perform software assurance scans

Develop, submit, and maintain all SA&A package deliverables including System Security Plan (SSP) within 30 days of contract award, PTA/PIA, Risk Assessment Report (RAR), POA&M (updated quarterly), Contingency Plan and Test Report, and E-Authentication Assessment per the SA&A SOP

Maintain security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, ATO artifacts) in compliance with NIST SP 800-18, FIPS 199/200, NIST SP 800-53

Support the SSPO in executing NIST RMF implementation, FISMA oversight obligations, and OMB directives including data calls, incident/breach response, and FISMA reporting

Respond to all CSIRC IRT alerts and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) within 24 hours

Execute continuous security monitoring

Monitor software updates, patches, and new features for all visualization tools, SharePoint, and development libraries; maintain COTS software within one major version of current release

Maintain compliance with HSPD-12/PIV, FedRAMP

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in development practices and security protocols.

Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to enhance our offerings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related technical field

Active security certification: one of CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent demonstrating federal cybersecurity competency

Minimum 4 years of experience implementing NIST RMF at federal agencies with FISMA Moderate or High FIPS 199 impact levels

Demonstrated experience preparing federal SA&A packages including SSPs, POA&Ms, RARs, and Contingency Plans

Hands-on experience with software assurance scanning tools (Fortify SCA, ScanCentral, or equivalent SCAP-compliant tools)

Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 (latest revision), NIST SP 800-37, FISMA 2014, FIPS 140/199/200/201, OMB A-130, and IS2P

Experience with FedRAMP authorization process and continuous monitoring (ISCM) requirements

Technical development capability in at least one of these languages (Python, R, PowerShell, or equivalent) to implement security controls directly within visualization and SharePoint solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)

Experience with Government-specific SA&A SOP and ATO processes

HSPD-12/PIV card already issued (expedites onboarding significantly)

Experience maintaining security documentation for Tableau Server, SharePoint Online, or Databricks in federal environments
