Firm Hope Youth and Family Health Services is seeking a passionate and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own space while ensuring work-life balance. Our telehealth platform is equipped with secure, user-friendly technology that makes it easy to conduct virtual sessions, complete documentation, and collaborate with colleagues. Our team works Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to establish patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each individual’s goals and challenges.
  • Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to help clients address their mental health concerns.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that provide patients a sense of community while educating them about managing their mental health.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies during multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Provide timely and effective crisis intervention services, supporting clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation of patient progress in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development by participating in workshops, case consultations, and staying updated on the latest research in mental health.
  • Actively contribute to the development and improvement of treatment programs based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
