Thrive Plus Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate team in providing high-quality therapeutic services remotely. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to provide therapy sessions from your home or an outpatient office setting. As part of our vibrant, inclusive team, you will connect with fellow professionals while working independently to create tailored therapeutic plans that address the unique needs of your clients.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions that focus on in-home therapeutic techniques and coping strategies for children with developmental disabilities.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address high-risk behaviors, including self-injury (SIB) and physical aggression, through skill-building and anger management strategies.
• Facilitate the development of effective decision-making skills among youth and caregivers, enhancing their capacity to manage behavioral challenges in the home environment.
• Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic support for youth and families.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute valuable recommendations for improving service delivery and client outcomes.

This position focuses primarily on children and teens aged 3-20 who are experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, providing culturally competent care that respects and addresses the distinct backgrounds and needs of the families we serve.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Tennessee.
• A commitment to working a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with weekend hours being a valuable asset.
• Exceptional communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred, to ensure effective engagement with diverse populations.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to facilitate any necessary travel for in-home sessions.
• A clean criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all clients.

• Experience providing positive behavior support, specifically for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• Previous work experience with youth in crisis or those displaying high-risk behaviors is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience facilitating group therapy sessions, enhancing interpersonal skills among clients.

Thrive Plus Inc. offers a competitive compensation range of USD 60,000 to USD 80,000 per year, reflecting your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a robust benefits package, including:
