We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Global Life Mental Healthcare. You will work closely with a dedicated team of professionals, including social workers, educational consultants, and family support specialists, all focused on delivering holistic care to our patients. • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, primarily in clients' homes, to ensure a supportive environment that fosters personal growth and healing.
• Implement strategies for managing anger, enhancing coping skills, and promoting social interactions while addressing high-risk behaviors, such as self-injury or physical aggression.
• Enhance decision-making skills for both youth and their caregivers, assisting them in effectively managing behavioral challenges at home.
• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other multi-disciplinary professionals to create a comprehensive support system for the client and their family.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including client intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Participate in monthly meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and submit treatment recommendations to improve client outcomes.

The primary focus of this role is on children and teens aged 3 to 20 who experience developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. You will play a critical role in developing and delivering therapeutic interventions that enhance their quality of life and facilitate their integration into the community.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential for this position.
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm) and potential weekend work to accommodate client schedules.

• Experience providing positive behavioral support and previous work with children of varying ages, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is highly preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are necessary for the remote nature of the job, enabling visits to clients' homes.
• Preference will be given to candidates who pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
