Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead competitive intelligence and PTW activities for assigned pre-bid and active bid opportunities, including competitive environment, customer, top-down, bottom-up, and parametric analyses
- Develop integrated PTW hypotheses using customer intelligence, competitor posture, incumbent performance, procurement signals, award history, and market benchmarks.
- Design and oversee bid-specific competitive pricing databases, analytical models, workpapers, and quality review routines.
- Evaluate pricing scenarios, sensitivity ranges, competitor likely behaviors, customer value drivers, and risk tradeoffs to support bid strategy decisions.
- Lead portions of pre-bid and RFP analysis, including identification of risks, avoidance strategies, mitigation options, and pricing implications in partnership with Business Development.
- Prepare and present clear findings, insights, and recommendations to capture, pricing, finance, proposal, and business leadership audiences.
- Facilitate PTW inputs into strategy sessions, customer value proposition workshops, and proposal team alignment discussions.
• Coach Analysts and Sr Analysts on research approaches, model quality, storyline development, and executive-ready deliverables.
• Contribute to PTW methodology improvement, reusable templates, source standards, and lessons learned across opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Program Specific Requirements:
- Conducting competitive intelligence, pricing research, market analysis, opportunity research, or bid strategy analysis.
- Ability to collect, validate, organize, and analyze award history, incumbent information, procurement trends, contract structures, market benchmarks, labor categories, pricing patterns, cost drivers, and customer signals.
- Comfortable building analytical models, maintaining source logs and workpapers, explaining assumptions, identifying risks, and translating findings into clear implications for PTW, pricing, capture, and proposal decisions.
- Advanced Excel and analytical documentation skills preferred.
- Experience supporting State Procurement within the Healthcare/Medicaid market.
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.
