Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore, MD is hiring for a Compensation Analyst.

Schedule:

  • Monday- Friday
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • 13 week temporary contract assignment

Location:

  • 100% Remote position
  • Employee will be required to have efficiently working home internet
  • Applicants must hold their permanent residence  in one of the following locations:
    • Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., or Florida

Pay Rate: $43.00


Conducts market analysis, performs job evaluation, develops job specifications, conducts annual salary planning process and administers salary programs including salary recommendations, incentive pay and performance management. 

  • Conducts internal equity reviews, measures external competitiveness and ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as primary resource person for policy and procedure advice and guidance to HR business partners and business leaders regarding Compensation.
  • Advise and coordinate with Compensation team, HR business partners and management in the proper classification of positions, interpretation of job classifications and the application of compensation and reward policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing job evaluation and design plans by performing research into occupational characteristics and preparing and analyzing statistical data that reflect internal and external market considerations. Conduct job audits, where applicable.
  • Prepare job descriptions, recommend corresponding compensation levels and salary ranges and communicate recommendations to assigned business units in a concise, customer-focused format.
  • Complete assigned compensation surveys of assigned business units; provide analysis and preliminary recommendations relative to job evaluation, design, classifications and market trends.
  • Assist in developing and implementing direct and indirect reward and pay strategies to support assigned business unit's requirements.
  • Audit pay practices to ensure compliance with federal and state legislation applicable to wage and hour laws and regulations and internal pay policies; thoroughly document findings and recommend appropriate solutions for compliance.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years compensation experience is required
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel is required
  • SAP and Kronos experience is highly preferred
  • HRIS and compensation management tools experience is required
