Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of your home while still being deeply connected to our community health clinic. Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized evaluation tools that support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Therapeutic Services: Deliver high-quality evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and groups, integrating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other approaches tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside a diverse team of professionals including case managers, psychiatrists, and other counselors to design and implement coordinated care plans that promote holistic health outcomes.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support to clients encountering acute mental health crises, utilizing your skills and knowledge to stabilize their situation and guide them toward recovery.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in outreach programs and workshops aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and education, actively working to reduce stigma and encourage community dialogue.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide array of clients from diverse backgrounds, which will enhance your clinical experience and cultural competence. Qualifications
  • Current, independent, and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Completion of a master's degree or doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong cultural competence and sensitivity, enabling effective collaboration with individuals from various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in community health settings is highly desirable.
