As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your specific responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for individuals presenting with a variety of mental health concerns, establishing therapeutic rapport to facilitate open communication.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that adopt evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to each client’s needs.
• Maintaining accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team—comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals—to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and participating in peer review meetings to enhance both personal and team learning.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Staying informed about the latest developments in mental health research and integrating these findings into daily clinical practices.
• Managing a full caseload of patients, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and guidelines from the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Michigan.
• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy techniques and evidence-based modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to treatment.
• The capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is highly valued, given the remote nature of this position.
• Familiarity with using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information and documentation.
• Additional certifications in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) are advantageous.
