The Program Manager, Medical & Scientific Affairs is responsible for delivering key projects and programs for the Medical & Scientific Affairs team.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Medical & Scientific Affairs, and is part of the MedSci team and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead key projects and cross functional teams in the MedSci function, ensuring those projects are delivered on time, in scope and within budget.
  • Drive execution of MedSci projects using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools such as VPM, VSM, Daily Management, and Action Plans, as well as fundamental tools like Smartsheet, Miro and Microsoft suite. Apply problem solving principles to resolve critical issues.
  • Provides operations support for Medical Affairs objectives, KPIs and sustainment of existing standard work.
  • Partner with internal and external resources to deliver MedSci evidence site effectiveness, Medical insights generation, and reporting on key projects
  • Support processing of Medical affairs clinical and medical content for external facing audiences through internal approval processes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific/engineering field with preference for 7+ years' experience in program management, or Advanced degree (PhD, MD) in biological science with preference for 4+ years' experience in program management.
  • Ability to work independently with the MedSci team and their cross-functional partners, to ensure specific programs, consulting with department leadership for guidance on complex situations.
  • Ability to discern and make balanced decisions and interpret internal or external business issues for best practice recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and willingness to continuously improve together with the business. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in or knowledge of in vitro diagnostics (IVDs).
  • Understanding of product lifecycle from concept to commercial execution.
  • PMP certification a plus; must be willing to work toward PMP if not currently certified.
  • Medical affairs experience a plus.

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
