In this fully remote position, our therapy team operates out of a supportive and resource-rich virtual environment. We emphasize work-life balance, offering flexible scheduling that caters to individual therapists’ styles and patient needs. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential adjustments based on patient availability and clinical requirements. You will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and software tools to effectively conduct sessions, maintain records, and coordinate care.

As a licensed mental health therapist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that contribute directly to patient care, including:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify the unique needs and strengths of each patient.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches.
• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic modalities to the specific challenges and circumstances of patients.
• Facilitating psychoeducational workshops and support groups designed to empower clients and foster community connections.
• Engaging in collaborative case discussions with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
• Offering crisis intervention services, promptly addressing mental health emergencies to safeguard patient wellbeing.
• Educating patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and access to community resources that support recovery.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participating actively in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay informed of advancements in mental health.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• Robust knowledge of mental health disorders and effective therapeutic practices relevant to those disorders.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing detailed treatment plans customized to individual patient needs.
• An established track record of providing high-quality individual and group therapy to diverse client populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong ethical judgment and professional boundaries in practice.
• Skills in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• The ability to function collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a culture of care and innovation.

While a minimum of two years' experience in mental health counseling is required, individuals with additional experience in community health settings or with specific populations, such as those struggling with substance use issues, will be given preference. Cultural competency and languages spoken fluently other than English will also be considered an asset.
