What is a Remote Community Guide?

A Remote Community Guide is a professional who helps manage, support, and engage members of an online community from a remote location. They facilitate discussions, answer questions, enforce community guidelines, and help foster a positive, inclusive environment. Their role often includes moderating content, organizing virtual events, and providing resources to community members. Remote Community Guides use digital communication tools to connect with members and ensure that the community remains active and welcoming.

What are some common challenges faced by Remote Community Guides, and how can they effectively manage them?

Remote Community Guides often encounter challenges such as fostering engagement in a virtual environment, handling conflicts between members, and maintaining a positive and inclusive community culture. Job description

As a Senior Inside Sales Consultant, you will work with families who have already begun their search with A Place for Mom and guide them through the final stages of their decision.
This is a high-activity, performance-driven inside sales role focused on re-engaging families, managing a pipeline of opportunities, and converting interest into move-ins.
You will be responsible for consistent follow-up, strong consultative selling, and disciplined execution across every stage of the sales process.
You will play a critical role in helping families make one of the most important decisions of their lives. Your ability to follow through, guide effectively, and drive outcomes directly impacts both family experiences and business success.
What you will do:
  • Manage a pipeline of families who have previously engaged with A Place for Mom and require continued guidance toward a move-in decision.
  • Execute consistent, high-volume outreach across phone, text, and email to re-engage and advance families.
  • Drive outcomes by moving families from tour to decision, including scheduling additional tours and providing new referrals when needed.
  • Apply a structured follow-up cadence to maintain engagement and prevent pipeline stagnation.
  • Build trust quickly with families, understand their needs, and guide them to the best-fit care options.
  • Partner with senior living communities and care providers to coordinate tours, share feedback, and support move-in conversion.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in CRM to reflect pipeline status, next steps, and forecasts.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and conversion expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching, call reviews, and training to continuously improve performance.

What will make you successful:
  • High daily activity and consistent follow-up execution
  • Strong pipeline management and organization
  • Ability to convert engaged families into move-ins
  • Consistent achievement of sales targets
  • Responsiveness to coaching and continuous improvement

Who you Are:
  • A results-driven sales professional who thrives in a high-activity, metrics-based environment
  • Skilled at closing and advancing deals, not just generating interest
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple families and timelines simultaneously
  • Comfortable owning a pipeline and being accountable for outcomes
  • Coachable, resilient, and motivated to improve performance

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a quota-driven sales role, preferably inside or phone-based sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing and converting warm lead pipelines
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to multitask (phone + CRM documentation simultaneously)
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work remotely with a high level of focus and accountability

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strongly preferred Senior Living Community Sales Experience

Work Environment:
  • Fully remote role with a required dedicated home office space
  • High-speed, hardwired internet connection required
  • Company-provided laptop, VOIP system, CRM access, and tools
  • Schedule includes some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:
  • Hourly Base Salary: $51,500 ($24.76 an hour)
  • On Target Earnings: $86,500 ($35,000 variable bonus (Uncapped)
  • Benefits:
    • 401(k) plus match
    • Dental Insurance
    • Health Insurance
    • Vision Insurance
    • Paid Time Off
