• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify each patient’s unique needs and treatment history.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans focusing on recovery from trauma and the promotion of resilience.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate effective healing.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma and foster coping strategies.
• Collaborate efficiently with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring stability and safety for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for continued support.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance the quality of trauma-informed care across our clinic.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in trauma treatment methodologies through continuous education and training.

Your expertise will be directed towards a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will play a crucial role in promoting healing and empowering patients to reclaim their lives. Our model emphasizes trust and safety, allowing clients to engage openly and productively in their therapeutic journeys.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on trauma-related disorders.
• Strong foundation in trauma-informed care practices and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards patients.
• Ability to demonstrate calmness, reliability, and professionalism under pressure.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.
• Dedication to collaborative teamwork within a dynamic mental health setting.

Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions will be highly regarded. The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
