Beyond Pain Psychotherapy Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team at our remote Community Health Clinic in San Jose, California. This remote position will require you to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours depending on client needs. As part of our remote team, you will utilize various digital communication platforms and electronic health record systems to maintain an effective workflow. You will also engage in collaborative virtual meetings, enhancing team connection despite the physical distance.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients who present complex cases related to major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform your approach.
• Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy sessions, crisis interventions, and group therapy, to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing insights that contribute to treatment planning and the common goals of team cohesion.
• Document client interactions and therapeutic progress in compliance with organizational and professional standards using our electronic health record systems.
• Engage in ongoing self-assessment and professional development, participating in training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge base.

The clients you will support may face significant challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and socio-economic barriers that impact their mental health. A strong commitment to fostering a connection with clients through empathy and understanding of their individual life experiences will be crucial in creating a supportive therapeutic environment.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) will be considered advantageous.
• Must be a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in California or possess equivalent credentials.
• Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse populations.
• Ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with clients, while also working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• At least two years of clinical experience in social work, with a focus on mental health services.
• Expertise in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and the treatment of various mental health disorders.
• Proficiency with health information technology and telehealth platforms is a plus.
