Project Lead

As a Project Leader at ICON, you will be responsible for guiding and managing medical communications and publication projects to ensure the successful delivery.

What You Will Do:

You will manage day-to-day projects including cross-functional stakeholder alignment and client engagement responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing various medical communication projects including publications, including defining project briefs, planning, and coordinating activities to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Managing client status meetings, reports and liaison as co-lead with scientific counterparts for multiple projects
  • Execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all project milestones are achieved on time.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project plans, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing solutions to address challenges and keep the project on track or escalating as appropriate.
  • Providing regular updates and reports on project status, performance, and changes to stakeholders and team management and sr management as appropriate.

Your Profile:

You will have solid project and program management experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and mentor more junior team members.
Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects effectively, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with experience in managing complex projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
