The work is conducted remotely, allowing for flexibility while still providing a structured workweek from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will utilize remote communication tools and software that facilitate uninterrupted patient interaction and care management.

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patient needs to accurately diagnose their mental or emotional disorders.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies to address each patient’s unique challenges.
• Engage in regular, supportive meetings with patients to understand their concerns, providing empathetic listening and insightful counseling.
• Educate patients and their families about effective coping mechanisms for managing stress and trauma-related issues.
• Monitor patients’ progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with social services, medical personnel, and community programs to coordinate care delivery and ensure patients have access to essential resources.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay abreast of the latest trends in mental health practices.

This position specifically centers on trauma injury patients who are seeking therapeutic support to recover from their experiences. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals coping with various trauma-related stressors, guiding them through personalized therapeutic approaches aimed at rebuilding their mental resilience and restoring their quality of life.

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Valid and active Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience specifically working with trauma patients in a clinical setting is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary to manage documentation and communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must for effective patient interaction.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable.
• Experience in conducting trauma-informed care is advantageous, enhancing your ability to connect with and support patients effectively.
