This position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from your home while maintaining a professional and structured work routine. Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life integration. You'll engage with clients through our secure telehealth platform, which facilitates easy communication and effective therapy sessions.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' levels of distress and functioning, utilizing standardized assessment tools and personal interview techniques.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique goals and preferences, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to mood disorders, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, promoting understanding and effective coping strategies while addressing treatment options.
• Track and evaluate client progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and trends in mental health to continually refine practice methods and enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to advance your clinical expertise.
• Advocate for clients and challenge the stigma surrounding mental health, supporting their needs both within the therapy context and the wider community.

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will serve a varied population, allowing you to bring your unique perspective and strategies to promote their emotional and psychological health. We encourage approaches that foster a therapeutic alliance, ensuring that clients feel heard, validated, and supported.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in Maryland as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT is required.
• Familiarity with and competency in delivering evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively cooperate with psychiatric colleagues.
• Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients, fostering trust and therapeutic alliance.
