We are looking for a passionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team at Rapha Mental and Wellness Center, a premier outpatient facility located in Columbia, Maryland. This full-time remote position offers you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients suffering from various mood disorders. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, facilitating a flexible work-life balance while allowing you to work closely with our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and mental health professionals. Our telehealth platform utilizes advanced technology to provide the highest standard of care, enabling you to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and collaborative care in a secure and efficient manner. Your work schedule will primarily consist of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms of mood disorders, focusing on their severity, frequency, and impact on daily living.
  • Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate the clients’ specific needs, goals, and lifestyle adjustments, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address and manage mood disorders effectively.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, potential treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
  • Regularly monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment, making necessary adjustments to their care plans based on their evolving needs and feedback.
