As a Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and insurance expertise to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. You'll partner closely with clients, carrier representatives, producers, and internal team members to manage renewals, policy changes, coverage reviews, and day-to-day service needs. Success in this role comes from a combination of technical insurance knowledge, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing responsive, client-focused service.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Serve as the primary service contact for a book of commercial insurance clients, delivering responsive support and building trusted relationships.
  • Manage the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, endorsements, audits, billing inquiries, and policy changes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review new business and renewal policies to verify coverage alignment, policy accuracy, and client expectations.
  • Market new and renewal business when needed by coordinating carrier submissions, evaluating coverage options, and supporting placement strategies.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation within agency management systems and carrier platforms to support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with clients, carrier partners, producers, and internal teams to resolve issues, support claims coordination, and deliver proactive service.
  • Support client presentations, renewal discussions, and ongoing service initiatives that strengthen client retention and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to team success by sharing knowledge, supporting junior team members, and promoting collaboration across the organization.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and insurance-related technology platforms.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, client-focused approach.
Valuable Additions:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, risk management, or a related field.

*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
