Position Overview

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, giving you flexibility while ensuring you maintain a strong connection with our team. Although work is mainly conducted from home, participation in our outpatient office for team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative therapy discussions will be encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations using standardized tools and face-to-face interviews to accurately discern clients' mental health needs and to formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy across individual, group, and family formats, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to effectively address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns.
• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, sharing insights and updates that contribute to holistic treatment strategies.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations, delivering expert crisis intervention and support to clients who may be experiencing acute distress, ensuring safety and stability until further arrangements are made.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives—such as workshops and support groups—that aim to promote mental health awareness and combat stigma, thereby enhancing community engagement and education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population reflects the diverse fabric of our community, encompassing individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to support clients facing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD, while working to build your cultural competence and adaptability in therapeutic settings.

Qualifications

• Active and independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Master's degree or a doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated cultural competence to work effectively with a diverse range of clients, appreciating their unique backgrounds and experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities to maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in community mental health settings, particularly with underserved populations.
• Experience with telehealth services and digital therapeutic tools, showcasing your adaptability to remote treatment methodologies.
• Proficiency in managing a caseload effectively, balancing between administrative duties and direct patient care.
