Job description

We're Hiring: Senior Account Executive
Do you know a relationship-driven sales professional who knows how to turn great products into great partnerships?
The Tie Bar is looking for a Senior Account Executive to help grow our wholesale business across Specialty, Hospitality, Custom, and other high-potential channels.
This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives on both building relationships and building business. You'll own the wholesale sales process-from prospecting and presenting collections to growing existing accounts, driving reorders, developing new opportunities, and partnering across merchandising, product, operations, and marketing.
What you'll do:
• Grow and strengthen existing wholesale accounts
• Build and convert a strong new-business pipeline
• Develop relationships with buyers and key decision-makers
• Present seasonal collections and create account-specific growth strategies
• Identify new channels, customers, and distribution opportunities
• Represent The Tie Bar at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
• Bring customer insights and market opportunities back to our internal teams
What we're looking for:
• 3-7 years of wholesale sales, account management, or business development experience
• A proven track record of growing accounts and/or winning new business
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership
• Comfort managing multiple priorities in a remote environment
• A passion for men's style, accessories, occasion dressing, and accessible fashion
The role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Chicago, and includes periodic travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and company activities.
At The Tie Bar, we believe in owning the outcome, moving with purpose, speaking truth and listening fully, learning and sharing, dropping the ego, and building for the long haul.
If you're ready to help us build the next chapter of our wholesale business, we'd love to hear from you.
