Job description

Position Overview

Griffin and Associates Psychotherapy, Consultation Services, is seeking a dedicated and flexible Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic remote team. This full-time position allows you to provide high-quality counseling services to clients in a telehealth setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health and committed to helping individuals achieve their therapeutic goals.

About the Organization

Located in Paradise Valley, Nevada, Griffin and Associates is a premier private outpatient mental health practice, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of clients, which includes adults, children, and families. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality mental health services in the least restrictive environment possible. We offer a comprehensive range of therapeutic, psychopharmacological, and counseling services tailored to meet the unique needs of our community. In collaboration with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care, we ensure a holistic approach to mental health, sharing resources and creating a supportive network for client care.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in your work-life balance while maintaining a high standard of patient care through telehealth platforms. You will use advanced online systems and tools for documentation and client interactions, making it easier to adapt to the needs of your clients while managing your caseload effectively. Our commitment to a supportive team culture ensures that all clinicians are equipped with the resources and backing needed to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and positive, professional relationships that adhere to ethical boundaries.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review therapeutic progress, discuss stability, and strategize upcoming appointments and discharge when appropriate.
  • Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are centered on each client's specific needs and goals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' challenges and needs from the outset.
  • Engage in regular individual supervision sessions to enhance professional development and improve therapeutic skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, ensuring continuity of care for all clients.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, proactively seeking opportunities for learning and improvement in clinical practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving a varied client population that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Each client will be met with individualized attention, allowing you to utilize your expertise in evidence-based practices to foster healing and personal growth. Our organization values creating a safe and supportive environment for all clients to explore their mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential for success in this role:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a relevant field.
  • Current and unrestricted License as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Nevada.
  • A minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Proficiency with technology, specifically in using spreadsheets, records management systems, and telehealth platforms.
  • Expertise in providing high-quality psychotherapy services, including individual therapy sessions.
  • Comfort with conducting intake assessments independently.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with culturally competent care practices.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills that facilitate collaboration with clients and team members alike.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development in various mental health topics.
Compensation and Benefits

Griffin and Associates offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our structured Fee-for-Service model ensures guaranteed rates with payments made ahead of collectionsโ€”eliminating wait times for reimbursement. Additionally, our clinicians enjoy the following benefits:

  • Generous bonus opportunities based on performance.
  • W2 employment with a strong focus on work-life balance.
  • Extensive medical, vision, and dental insurance options, including supplemental plans.
  • A 401k retirement plan with company contributions.
  • Full malpractice insurance coverage provided to all clinicians.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for additional support.
  • Opportunities for professional development, including free CEUs on various mental health topics.
