Work Environment

This role operates within a fully remote setting, fostering flexibility and convenience for both counselors and clients. While you may conduct assessments and sessions from the comfort of your home, you will remain connected with our outpatient office team, participating actively in collaborative discussions and supervision. Our work schedule is structured for stability, with consistent hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, allowing for a consistent routine without evening or weekend commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse workload of clients while adhering to ethical standards and fostering positive therapeutic relationships.
• Conduct regular client meetings to evaluate progress, develop treatment plans, and review discharge strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized, person-centered treatment programs suited to their unique needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates, fulfilling legal and professional requirements.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gather essential information for developing appropriate treatment plans.
• Offer a predetermined number of individual therapy sessions weekly, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions for continual professional growth and skill enhancement.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, integrating interdisciplinary approaches to promote comprehensive client care.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of an unrestricted, independent, current, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license within the state of Texas.
• At least one year of clinical experience post-graduation in an outpatient environment is crucial to success in this role.
• Strong critical thinking skills, exceptional communication capabilities, and adept active listening are essential for facilitating effective client engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a variety of mental health conditions, particularly depression, anxiety, and addiction.

Compensation and Benefits

Great Lakes Psychology Clinic offers a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience. Our compensation model follows a fee-for-service approach, ensuring that you receive guaranteed rates prior to collection, thereby alleviating concerns over delayed reimbursements.
