About the Organization

At the Family Mental HealthCare Network, our mission is to provide personalized and affordable mental healthcare to individuals and families. We are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to effective treatment, empowering them to lead healthier and happier lives. Our community health clinic is built on a foundation of collaborative care, where clinicians work together to support each patient’s unique journey.

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to create a comfortable and productive work environment while still making a significant impact in the community. Our clinic utilizes the latest digital technology, ensuring that you have the tools necessary for effective communication and patient management. Additionally, our supportive administrative team will assist you with scheduling and paperwork, enabling you to focus on what you do best: providing exemplary care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, couples, and families to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions based on clinical diagnosis, developmental milestones, cultural considerations, and individual needs.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, ensuring interventions are tailored to the unique dynamics of each session.
  • Utilize effective crisis intervention strategies to address immediate concerns that may arise during therapeutic processes, demonstrating agility and confidence in handling sensitive situations.
  • Act as a patient advocate, fostering a collaborative environment by encouraging active family participation in treatment decisions while upholding the rights and dignity of each patient.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients and their families through collateral calls, conjoint therapy sessions, and progress evaluations, adjusting care plans as needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving a diverse population of adults and children, including adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will directly contribute to their emotional and psychological resilience, enabling clients to navigate their unique personal struggles and family dynamics effectively. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflicts, and adjustment issues, among others.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation in the state of California.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the mental health field.
  • Proficiency in conducting intake assessments and formulating treatment plans based on thorough evaluations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in community health settings, specifically with diverse patient demographics.
  • Prior exposure to outpatient or partial hospitalization programs is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated capacity for providing telehealth services, ensuring patient engagement in a digital format.
Compensation and Benefits

The Family Mental HealthCare Network offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and commitment to mental health care. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; a 401k plan with matching contributions; paid parental leave; holidays; and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Our commitment to worker well-being is evident in our focus on maintaining a strong work/life balance and flexible scheduling options.

Career Growth Opportunities

As part of a forward-thinking organization, you will have access to mentorship programs and professional workshops designed to enhance your knowledge and skills in therapeutic practices.
