Job description

Position Overview

Young Minds Counseling P.C. is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mission-driven team. This role focuses on providing compassionate care to individuals grappling with severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses, contributing to enhanced community health and well-being. Working remotely within the context of a Detox Center, the LCSW will engage with clients in need, facilitate access to services, and implement tailored treatment plans.

About the Organization

At Young Minds Counseling P.C., we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services in medically underserved areas. Our mission is to foster healthier communities irrespective of an individual’s ability to pay. By adopting a global perspective while acting locally, we aim to set a benchmark for other health centers. Our commitment uniquely positions us as a leader in the behavioral health field in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Work Environment

This role offers a fully remote working environment, allowing greater flexibility while still being a vital part of a team. The Detox Center setting means you will be working closely with clients who are navigating addiction and related mental health challenges, providing critical support in a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere. It requires adaptability to diverse client conditions and a collaborative spirit as you connect with community resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized clinical interventions both in direct emotional support and through structured therapeutic modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, applying evidence-based screening tools to determine the needs of clients.
  • Develop and implement integrated care plans, ensuring responsive coordination between clients, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Assist with crisis interventions, demonstrating an ability to de-escalate conflicts and provide immediate support as required.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with ethical guidelines and the established code of conduct, ensuring timely submission of reports and clinical data.
  • Carry a manageable caseload, closely monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary to enhance empowerment and choice.
  • Engage actively in team meetings and collaborative discussions to enhance service delivery and overall agency performance.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population consists of individuals suffering from severe emotional disorders and major mental illness, many of whom are navigating the complexities of substance use disorders. These clients present unique challenges that require not only clinical expertise but also empathy and cultural sensitivity. The LCSW will be instrumental in breaking down barriers to care and ensuring these individuals receive the appropriate resources and support in a dignified manner.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) is mandatory; valid LCSW credentials are required to practice.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a direct clinical setting is essential, preferably within mental health and substance abuse environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team framework to advance collective goals.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in detox centers or similar settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with integrated care models and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Previous experience employing evidence-based interventions and treatment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of community resources and readiness to connect clients to these supports.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment conducive to personal and professional growth.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Young Minds Counseling P.C., we are committed to empowering our employees to reach their full potential. The successful LCSW will have abundant opportunities for professional development, including training on the latest therapeutic practices, participation in workshops, and a pathway to leadership roles. Advancement potential is tied to personal performance objectives, commitment to client outcomes, and the continuous improvement of service delivery within the community.

Why Join Our Team

By becoming a part of Young Minds Counseling P.C., you are committing to an organization that values quality care, community engagement, and social justice. You will be joining a team of passionate, like-minded professionals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals facing significant challenges. Together, we work to reshape mental healthcare while modeling compassion, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Application Information

Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes along with a cover letter outlining their relevant experience and qualifications for the LCSW role at Young Minds Counseling P.C. We value diversity and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
