Job Description:

  • Develop and optimize NC programs for aerospace machined components.
  • Review engineering drawings, 3D models, process plans, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Create machining strategies, setups, and tool paths using CAD/CAM software.
  • Perform NC code verification and validation using VERICUT simulation software.
  • Detect and eliminate collisions, gouges, overcuts, and excess material conditions through simulation.
  • Generate setup sheets, tooling documentation, and NC programming packages.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, tooling engineers, and shop-floor personnel.
  • Support prove-out activities and resolve machining-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.
