Natividad Mental and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Remote Mental Health Counselor to join our team and provide essential services for adults dealing with a range of mental health issues. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled therapist with a Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology, holding independent licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD. We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility with your schedule. You will have options to work full-time (more than 30 hours a week) or part-time (more than 5 hours a week) to accommodate your lifestyle. • Deliver compassionate and ethical mental health counseling to clients via video conferencing, focusing on stabilizing and supporting low-acuity adults.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose client needs and formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in developing effective coping mechanisms, problem-solving strategies, and improved communication skills.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of client interactions while minimizing paperwork to maximize your focus on therapy.
• Engage with clients to support overall mental well-being and adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

In this role, you will primarily work with low-acuity adults who are seeking stabilization and ongoing support for their mental health challenges. Our clients may present various issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or life transitions. Your goal will be to foster a safe and empathetic environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and aspirations, ultimately guiding them toward healthier coping strategies and greater life satisfaction.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must possess a current and valid state license as either an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Licensing should be independent without the requirement for supervision, and candidates must have a clean disciplinary record.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and proficiency with technology, including the ability to conduct therapy via video chat.
• A reliable and stable internet connection is essential for maintaining seamless communication with clients.

• Previous experience in providing outpatient mental health counseling services, especially in a telehealth setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying client needs effectively.
• Experience with specific therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is an advantage.
