Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify emotional and behavioral challenges, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
  • Provide direct counseling services, including one-on-one therapy and crisis intervention, employing techniques grounded in mindfulness and solution-focused therapy.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' families and support networks to engage them in the treatment process and assist with discharge planning when necessary.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes using electronic medical record systems, ensuring compliance with clinic standards and confidentiality regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cohesive treatment strategies that address the psychosocial needs of clients, promoting their overall recovery and stability.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Professional Counselor will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, and other mental health disorders.
