• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify emotional and behavioral challenges, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Provide direct counseling services, including one-on-one therapy and crisis intervention, employing techniques grounded in mindfulness and solution-focused therapy.
• Communicate effectively with clients' families and support networks to engage them in the treatment process and assist with discharge planning when necessary.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes using electronic medical record systems, ensuring compliance with clinic standards and confidentiality regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cohesive treatment strategies that address the psychosocial needs of clients, promoting their overall recovery and stability.

The Licensed Professional Counselor will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, and other mental health disorders. • A Master's degree in Professional Counseling or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional counseling experience with a focus on clinical intervention and treatment planning.
• Strong experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and formulating treatment plans based on client needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using computer applications, including MS Office, electronic medical records, and telehealth platforms for effective client communication.

Preferred candidates will have experience working in community health settings or private mental health practices and a background in using evidence-based therapeutic methods. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, as well as crisis intervention techniques, will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Previous experience working with clients from varied socio-economic backgrounds and cultural identities will also be advantageous.
