Position Overview

Shift Perspective Mental Health is seeking a compassionate and qualified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, establishing treatment plans based on individual goals and desired outcomes.
  • Provide therapeutic counseling sessions, employing mindfulness techniques and solution-focused interventions tailored to each client’s unique situation.
  • Engage in crisis intervention procedures, offering immediate support and guidance to clients in distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Coordinate with clients' families and support systems to develop inclusive treatment and discharge plans, emphasizing collaborative decision-making.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, clinical notes, and treatment progress, adhering to departmental standards and legal requirements.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance the collective clinical understanding of client needs and refine therapeutic approaches.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, sharing relevant advancements in the mental health field with team members.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of individuals seeking mental health support. Clients may be dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management. Your role is critical in facilitating their journey toward mental well-being by employing individualized treatment strategies that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of three years of professional counseling experience, including direct therapeutic service delivery in a clinical setting.
  • Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
  • Proficient in diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning, capable of assessing client needs and determining appropriate interventions.
  • Strong technological skills, including proficiency in MS Office software, electronic medical records systems, and telehealth platforms.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting.
  • Familiarity with integrated care models and collaborative practice.
  • Training in trauma-informed care and mindfulness-based interventions.
Compensation and Benefits
