Essential Functions:
  • Develop Infrastructure processes and workflows to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Engineer server, endpoint, and infrastructure configurations using enterprise tooling and automation.
  • Diagnose outages and performance issues and drive root cause remediation.
  • Maintain patching strategies to ensure consistent system compliance.
  • Manage backup and recovery solutions to support business continuity.
  • Document system architecture, configuration baselines, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineering on complex infrastructure issues.
  • Define Infrastructure policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Execute vulnerability remediation and system hardening efforts.
  • Communicate with clients during service disruptions and provide technical clarity.
  • Implement operational workflows that reduce manual effort and increase system stability.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third parties to resolve platform level issues.
  • Lead Infrastructure projects and ensure alignment with engineering standards.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve cross functional technical issues.
  • Automate recurring tasks using scripting and workflow tools.
  • Administer tooling to support MSP customers (ServiceNow, Tanium, AvePoint, Azure backups, etc.)
  • Oversee backup and recovery systems.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Software management and deployment.
  • Hardware management and deployment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required
  • Security+ CE or IAT Level II equivalent certification.
  • Administrative experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
  • Proficiency with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
  • Foundational networking knowledge (firewalls, switches, WAPs, endpoints, servers).
  • Administrative experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure.
  • Experience administering enterprise antivirus solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for high-pressure technical and customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to identify and apply industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • S. citizenship with the ability to pass an extensive background check.
  • Experience automating tasks and processes using modern tooling.
  • Experience with Tanium for endpoint management, patching, and automation.
  • Experience supporting RMM tools, Tanium preferred.
  • Four (4)+ years of MSP or related experience.

Optional / Desired
  • Experience supporting VDI environments.
  • Experience managing SQL environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, CLI, Bash, etc.).
  • Experience building servers, performing upgrades, and executing migrations.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms for incident, request, and change management.
  • Experience supporting CMMC compliant environments.
