In this remote position, you will engage with clients primarily through virtual platforms, allowing for flexible schedules and the ability to work from virtually anywhere. The community health clinic setting emphasizes teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will have the opportunity to connect with psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to ascertain the emotional and psychological needs of clients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that the strategies proposed are culturally responsive and personalized.
• Implement evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in one-on-one, family, and group settings.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, aligned with professional standards and clinic policies.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health concepts, empowering them with strategies to manage their conditions effectively.
• Cooperate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in coordinating care and support for clients, facilitating referrals as needed.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes to determine effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to ongoing treatment plans as needed.
• Stay current with latest research and best practices in social work and mental health to enhance clinical skills and approaches.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions and documentation.

Your role will involve working with a wide range of clients, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds, individuals facing trauma, and families experiencing specific social and emotional challenges. By prioritizing a culturally competent approach, you will help clients navigate their unique life circumstances and empower them to achieve personal growth and healing.

• A Master's degree in Social Work is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds and life experiences.

• Experience in a community health clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to maintain clinical documentation would be beneficial.
• Additional therapeutic certifications and training in multicultural counseling techniques are a plus.
