Positive Change Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a fulfilling full-time remote role. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Positive Change Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, to provide immediate support to clients undergoing detox.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, utilizing evidenced-based practices to enhance their recovery prospects.
• Collaborating with a remote team of health care professionals, including psychologists, addiction specialists, and nurses, to facilitate integrated care and positive outcomes for clients.
• Tracking and maintaining detailed, compliant documentation of client progress and treatment effectiveness using our secure electronic health record system.

This position focuses on a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing substance use disorder and associated mental health issues. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, providing culturally competent care that respects their individual experiences and contexts. Your efforts will directly contribute to their recovery and long-term success, making a positive impact in their lives.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in a substance use or mental health treatment setting.
• Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills, along with the ability to apply various therapeutic modalities effectively.
• A commitment to ethical practice and culturally responsive care that meets the diverse needs of your clients.

Candidates with the following experience will be favored during the hiring process:

• Experience working in detox or rehabilitation settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.
• Training or certification in specific therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Positive Change Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition to the salary, we provide:
