This role is primarily remote but entails interaction with a clinical team and other healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Your workspace will be adaptable, supporting a climate-controlled office setting that allows for daily movement and collaboration among team members. • Perform thorough assessments of patients’ mental health, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to accurately diagnose and evaluate their condition as needed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, tailoring interventions to meet cultural diversity and specific needs of the populations served.
• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance mental health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational protocols.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to establish comprehensive care plans.
• Educate and mentor interns, students, and volunteers in best practice techniques and therapeutic strategies.
• Participate in peer review, clinical collaborations, and professional development activities under the guidance of your clinical supervisor.

This role focuses on individuals and families coping with the psychological impacts of cancer diagnoses. You will utilize evidence-based practices to support patients throughout their treatment journey, addressing their mental, emotional, and social needs. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Massachusetts is mandatory.

Ideal candidates will possess at least two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably dealing with outpatient therapy related to cancer care or chronic illness. Familiarity with integrated healthcare approaches and a strong commitment to collaborative practices will enhance your effectiveness in this position.

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
