Work Environment

As a remote role within a community health clinic, you will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be tasked with a variety of vital responsibilities, including:

  • Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that foster connection among clients, providing a safe space for shared experiences.
  • Delivering individualized counseling sessions tailored to each client's needs, helping them develop coping strategies, action plans, and a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
  • Collaborating with clients to create comprehensive treatment plans that set achievable goals, reflecting their preferences and needs.
  • Monitoring and evaluating client progress using various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and ensure that clients receive the best possible support throughout their treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily revolves around providing mental health services to adolescents and young adults aged 18 to 30. You will work with clients facing a range of emotional and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is crucial in instilling hope, nurturing healing, and empowering these young individuals to pursue their goals and establish fulfilling lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
  • Active LPC licensure is required.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of professional experience in the mental health field, particularly those who have worked with young adults or in outpatient settings. A demonstrated ability in group therapy facilitation and individual counseling is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
