• Utilize evidence-based assessment methods to formulate independent psychosocial diagnoses and recognize patients' mental and emotional needs.
• Collaborate closely with patients to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans that focus on their specific challenges and goals.
• Conduct therapeutic interventions that incorporate various modalities, including solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation to improve patients’ coping strategies.
• Establish strong communication and coordination with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers and behavioral health specialists, to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Regularly monitor and track patients’ treatment responses, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on their progress towards defined goals.
• Support the management of psychotropic medications as prescribed, focusing on adherence monitoring, side effects management, and treatment effectiveness.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and care strategies in the electronic health record in compliance with organizational policies.

This role primarily serves individuals in a detox center setting, addressing the unique mental health challenges associated with substance use disorders. You will engage with patients navigating recovery, providing them with the support, tools, and interventions necessary for a successful transition to healthier lifestyles. • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.
• A minimum of one year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in diverse therapeutic techniques.

• Experience in substance use treatment and detox settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records, specifically in a remote care environment.
• Strong background in crisis intervention and management.
